The WAKAN Collection marks HAKTHELABEL’s first step beyond jewellery. A capsule of sunglasses designed for daily wear, created with the same attention to form, proportion, and restraint that defines the brand’s jewellery language.
Wakan (وكان) is a mountain village in Oman, set along the Western Hajar range. Known for its terraced landscape, stone structures, and elevated perspective, it is a place defined by clarity, stillness, and quiet strength.
The collection draws from this environment, translating a sense of altitude and openness into a refined eyewear form. Lightweight and minimal in construction, WAKAN was developed as an extension of the brand rather than a departure from it, carrying familiar design codes into a new object.
The capsule consists of a single, considered silhouette offered in three colourways. A hexagonal lens shape gives the frame its architectural character, while the metal construction keeps the design clean and deliberate.
Subtle Shahad detailing appears above the lenses and along the arms, referencing a pattern introduced in the Wahiba jewellery collection. Used quietly, it acts as a signature rather than a focal point, connecting WAKAN back to the brand’s design language.
WAKAN is designed as an everyday object. Functional, intentional, and understated, shaped by place rather than trend.
